Podiatry and Chiropody Services in Strood
Our services include routine foot care, treatment for nail disorders and assessments for foot pain and movement problems.
Routine Foot Care, Corns and Calluses
Painful corns, hard skin and uncomfortable nails can make walking unpleasant. We assess these concerns and provide appropriate care, alongside advice about looking after your feet between appointments. If reaching your feet or managing your toenails has become difficult, contact us to discuss an appointment.
Nail Problems and Nail Surgery
Thickened, damaged or painful toenails can be difficult to manage yourself. We assess nail disorders and explain the treatment options available, including nail surgery where appropriate.
Verruca Assessment and Treatment
If you have a suspected verruca, we can examine the area and discuss suitable treatment options. An assessment can also help establish whether the affected skin is a verruca or another foot problem.
Heel Pain and Achilles Tendinopathy
We provide assessments for heel pain and Achilles tendon concerns. Your appointment focuses on understanding your symptoms and discussing a suitable management plan.
Diabetic Foot Care
Our Strood clinic offers diabetic foot care, with assessment and advice based on your individual requirements. Contact the practice to discuss your needs when booking.
Gait Analysis and Custom Foot Orthotics
Gait analysis examines how you walk as part of an assessment of foot function and movement. Where appropriate, we can discuss custom foot orthotics and how they may fit into your care plan.
